| Illegal "LED lamps” for traffic lights. |

Increasingly more often, there are companies producing and marketing "LED bulbs" to easily replace on the traffic lights currently installed. This practice is ILLEGAL! As for the Law .192 (Art.45 Cod.Str.), Traffic lights must be approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in its entirety, for installation on public land. Until today, the same Ministry has not approved this type of product. The Authority owner of the ROAD, which installs in its own territory traffic lights with these "LED lamps" (deformed ,so, the sample deposited at the Ministry) commit crimes and it is punishable by law. Our LED lights are regularly approved by Decree No. 30014 of Managerial 24/03/2009 "La Semaforica srl" forbids by any third parties, any tampering on its products, so on deposited and approved samples. Thus, an traffic light born with incandescent lamps, cannot be converted to LEDs. Please review our request of opinion, and the related response of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in the person of Dr. Ing Mazziotta.
