Octagonal section poles

General characteristics

• Traffic lights poles with octagonal cross section and bent arm, formed by two elements (vertical pole and bent arm) to be fixed on site through forced overlapping.
• Poles are ready for being anchored to the basement through insertion in the concrete foundation. It is provided with the three required processes for an electric connection according to the norms.
• Hot galvanized through immersion into melted zinc tanks.

Standard solutions

To consider different wind conditions in which Italy has been divided, we distinguish 2 versions unifying zones 1- 2-3 and zones 4-5-6-7-8.
Poles for zone 1-2-3:

• P/OTT/400: Pole H f.t. mt. 6,50 A = arm mt 4,00 for one traffic lights with contrast panel cm 90x135
• P/OTT/500: Palo H f.t. mt. 6,50 A = arm mt 5,00 for two traffic lights with contrast panels cm 90x135
• P/OTT/600: Palo H f.t. mt. 6,50 A = arm mt 6,00 for two traffic lights with contrast panels cm 90x135

To indicate poles for windy areas (from 4 to 8) the article of the pole will be P/OTT/400/S, P/OTT/500/S and P/OTT/600/S.

P/OTR poles with bent arm and standing octagonal pole and cylindrical/tapered ARM

This type of traffic-light pole comes from the need to have a structure with characteristics of anti-rotation in the wind as the octagonal poles, making the stem thus carried out standing, while maintaining the ease of installation and the possibility of dismantling the poles cylindrical / tapered.
Built in accordance with Ministerial Decree of 14/01/08

Traffic lights bent arm in hot dip galvanized steel according to UNI EN ISO 1461, obtained from standing in octagonal shape and made from sheet steel S355J2G3 UNI EN 10025 formed by bending and longitudinally welded with procedure approved by the Italian Institute of Welding. Outreach circular section attached to the upright by bolts and ring chuck.
Complete with cable entry hole, grounding attack, and slot for the terminal.

• P/OTR/400: H total 7400 mm base diameter 180 mm bent arm diameter 114 mm bent arm total 4000 mm. Weight 163 kg.
• P/OTR/500: H total 7600 mm base diameter 211 mm bent arm diameter 114 mm bent arm total 5000 mm. Weight 208 kg.
• P/OTR/600: H total 7600 mm base diameter 211 mm bent arm diameter 114 mm bent arm total 6000 mm. Weight 220 kg.
